Lease Brings Concourse Center to 98 Percent Occupancy

February 4, 2015

McGuire Development Company, a local commercial development, real estate consulting and property management firm, announced the leasing of 106,000 sq. ft. of space at the Concourse Center on Genesee Street to Alside, a leading manufacturer of vinyl siding and accessories, vinyl windows and patio doors. The long-term lease brings the 466,000 sq. ft. building to 98% occupancy. Alside will utilize the space as a regional warehouse and distribution hub.

McGuire Development brought the Concourse Center into its portfolio in the fourth quarter of 2012 at 43% occupancy. Since that time, the company has completed a series of capital improvement projects which have included a new roof and aesthetic improvements.

McGuire Development also announced that it will submit plans to the town of Cheektowaga for a new 50,000 sq. ft. building to be constructed on an outparcel at the Concourse Center. The new facility will meet the region’s growing demand for warehouse space and will be marketed for a variety of uses including flex/office, manufacturing, service and warehouse.

“The location at 4039 Genesee Street has proven to be one of the most accessible warehouse-servicing buildings in Western New York, with its driveway being only 500 feet from the entrance to the Kensington Expressway,” stated James Dentinger, president of McGuire Development.

McGuire Development has additional warehouse space in the region including Airport Commerce Park, located immediately adjacent to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport and is responsible for much of the air freight shipping activity into and out of the region, and a 10,600 sq. ft. warehouse building at 54 Ransier Drive in West Seneca.
